Following the the murder of George Floyd and subsequent protests in support of the BLM, the city of Seattle boarded up many areas, including the Japantown neighborhood. Building owners commissioned artist Erin Shigaki and I to develop a mural on a historic building. The final concept is a message of solidarity and memorial to those lost to police violence.
